The Streaming Giant Casts Spot-On Performer for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Season 3

Baroque Works is geared up to exert significant influence in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t take place until the third season, and a cherished, fan-favorite member has just been cast.

The streaming service revealed this week that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will play Bon Clay. The role can use their power to change into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The actor, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that character re-envisioned as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action series, unlike the source material and anime.

This performer will work alongside a number of new cast members who will portray the organization to the screen, including leader Sir Crocodile, played by Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso as another operative, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the lineup as the ruler of the fictional land.

Although this character is a important part of the group, the character won’t appear until One Piece the third season. Considering the second season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this signals a significant shift in the placement of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could signal additional alterations to the story’s structure.

Their mix of excellent comedic sense and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the role. In addition to their recent voice performance in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and numerous honors for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, showcasing the range they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised figures.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is set to return for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
