In the intensely contested realm of video games, it's usual for emerging rivals to fade away as quickly as they explode onto the landscape.

However this new installment is hoping to alter that.

It's the latest entry in a long-standing military shooter franchise often described as a more realistic response to the CoD series.

The franchise has seldom been able to equal its top opponent in regards of units sold or players, but indicators suggest the latest version could close the gap.

Another absent ingredient from the previous installment was a solo experience, which has been reintroduced this time around.

The Guildford team design director Fas Salim is the person responsible for "guaranteeing those levels are as entertaining and interesting as feasible for the players."

Despite reports that the scale of the project had challenged the different developers working together across continents to develop the title, he is upbeat about the process.

"Collaborating with diverse backgrounds, different heritages, it's a really engaging setting to be part of on a regular basis," he shares.

"The complete approach has been a fresh take but something truly thrilling because we are working with team members from internationally."

Concerning the expectation on the crew, the director states: "There is stress but also it's motivating.

"It's a major venture. It's likely the most significant that the majority of the team have ever been involved in."

Young Developer Brings New View
