The British tennis star secured the most notable win of his professional journey by rallying from a early deficit to beat top-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz with a stunning comeback in the second round of the Paris Masters.

Even though he had previously overcome Alcaraz on two prior meetings, this win marks Norrie's maiden success over a sitting world No 1.

The British player, seeded No 31, also halted Alcaraz's supreme run of nine finals in a row and 17 successive elite tournament victories, which marked the top run of outcomes in the Spaniard's developing professional path.
