The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was dismissed her side required another 66 at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to do that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can succeed."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this victory coming after success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
